Certificates & standards :

The Quad program is successfully tested by TÜV according to the following standards:

• DIN EN 527-1:2003
• DIN EN 527-2:2003
• DIN EN 527-3:2003
• NEN 2449-2006
• NPR 1813:2004

For the certificates we refer to the enclosure.

Legs

• T-formed leg.
• Metallic parts are powder coated.
• Underneath the legs there are two adjustment paws for level adjustment ( 15 mm adjustment ).
• 
• The legs have plastic conduction in order to avoid contact of metal against metal.
• Leg exists in the following parts :
  • A: Telescope or upper leg ( material : steel, with scale, upper leg in circular tube D55, welded  connecting piece in tube 60x40 )
  • B: Plastic cover in rounded shape
  • C: Rounded lower leg ( material : aluminium extrusion, rounded shape, according to specified color palette)
  • D & E. :Toe (consisting of two halves: a decorative cap, frame, steel corrugated profiles)
  • F: Plastic adjustment paw holder

Height adjustment Quad T-poot

• Available with different systems of height adjustment: tool-free comfort height system, height adjustment with handle and height adjustment with electric motor.
• The height is clearly indicated on a scale onto the leg (from 62 to 85 cm).
• The height is adjustable in steps every 10 mm for the comfort height system and continuously for the system with handle and with electric motor.

Height adjustment Quad Bench

• The Quad benches are height adjustable by means of :
  • a tool-free comfort height system: in steps of 10 mm from 62 to 85 cm
  • a height adjustment system with handle: continuous from 62 to 85 cm
  • a height adjustment system with electric motor: continuous from 62 to 85 cm.
• The working height of the desk is standard at 75 cm.

Frame Quad T-poot

• Quad stands for Quick Assembly Desking èQuad is a quick assembly system furniture.
• Each table exists in : a top, left foot, right foot, one beam, 2 countertop supports.
• All parts are rounded off so that the user cannot get injured.
• Assembly is very simple, tools are not necessary.
• Countertop supports are from high quality aluminum / zinc alloy.
• Countertops have mounting elements for a quick tool-free assembly onto the frame.  Plastic caps on the frame provide a floating effect of the worksheet.
• Optionally the top is sliding onto the frame to create an easy access to the cable channels.  This is only possible for single main desks.
• All connecting pieces and extensions ( extension 90°, extension 180°, meeting space ) are fixed directly onto the technical beam, so that the construction is very solid.
• The Central Unit Holder is fixed directly onto the technical beam by means of a tool-free assembly.
• It can be placed as well on the left as on the right side.

Frame Quad Bench

• Quad stands for Quick Assembly Desking -> Quad is a quick assembly system furniture.
• Each bench exists in : 2 tops, a mounting bar for accessories (screens, lighting, ...), 2 connectors and 2 covers.
• The frame can be built up with stable, fully closed side panels or with H-shaped legs.  This H-shaped leg can be used on the outer sides or as a central retreated foot in multiple configurations.
• The panel covering the foot is made out of a box-shaped folded steel plate, thickness 0,8 mm, with welded reinforcements.  On the inside of the leg the panels are removable, so that a vertical cable management in the leg is possible.
• In a configuration of multiple  tables (4 – 6 – 8 …) the bench tables are equipped with a retreated foot.  This retreated H-foot is made out of 2 I-shaped legs, which are mechanically connected onto a coupling plate, so that they remain perfectly positioned towards each other.
• All parts are rounded off so that the user cannot get injured.
• The countertop supports are aluminum profiles for tool-less assembly.  The countertops slide by means of plastic mounting elements on the upper horizontal rail of the countertop supports, so that top access to the cable profile is possible.

Tops Quad T-poot

• The countertop is made out of chipboard in thickness 28 mm and a density of 650 kg/m³ and meets the standard DIN 68765.
• The tops comply with the directives concerning environmental legislation.
• The top is covered with  a synthetic resin which is in compliance with standard EN 438/2 points 6 and 14 and onto the sides a synthetic edging in thickness 3 mm is glued, rounded off with a radius of 3 mm.  The tops comply with the standards concerning wear-resistance and scratch-resistance.  The bottom is finished in one piece.
• The Quad desk can have a melamine top or a volkern top in thickness 13 mm.

Tops Quad Bench

• The countertop is made out of chipboard in thickness 28 mm and a density of 650 kg/m³.
• The tops comply with the directives concerning environmental legislation.  FSC label for sustainable forest management.
• The top is covered with  a synthetic resin which is in compliance with standard EN 438/2 points 6 and 14 and onto the sides a synthetic edging in thickness 3 mm is glued, rounded off with a radius of 3 mm.  The tops comply with the standards concerning wear-resistance and scratch-resistance.  The bottom is finished in one piece.
• The Quad bench can have a melamine top or a volkern top in thickness 13 mm.

Cabling Quad T-poot

Optionally: horizontal metal cable profile or a plastic cable channel for vertical cabling

Cabling Quad Bench

• Vertical cabling:
  • By means of removable panels on the inside of the leg with fully closed panel (standard).
  • Via a flexible plastic cable channel (optional).
• Horizontal cabling (optional):
  • By means of horizontal, sufficiently spacious metal cable profiles underneath each workplace.
  • The profiles hinge onto the technical beam.
•  Top access through the shiftable top:
  • The tops, with plastic tabs on the bottom, are shiftable so that top access is possible.  This simplifies the entry and removal of cabling.

Finish Quad Bench

All metallic parts of the desk have a high quality epoxy powder coating, with an average layer thickness of 80 micrometer.  
The epoxy powder coating meets the NEN-EN 71-3:1995 standard (PPG-Sigma certificates in enclosure).
