Investing in sustainable energy is essential, not only for a cleaner planet but also to make our office furniture even more appealing.

Environmentally friendly products are becoming increasingly important in today’s market. That’s why we have also transitioned to 100% green energy.

Natural gas

Starting from 2022, we use green gas to reduce our CO2 emissions. This has resulted in offsetting 860.91 tons of CO2 and a 25% reduction in gas consumption. This amount of CO2 is roughly equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of 165 Flemish households, based on average energy consumption.

We primarily use gas for our painting process and heating. We also harness the residual heat from the painting process to heat adjacent spaces during the winter.

Electricity

In 2018, we began the process of making our electricity usage more sustainable by transitioning to energy-efficient LED lighting, resulting in an annual savings of 141,000 kWh.

In 2019, we did the same for production lighting, achieving an additional savings of 89,000 kWh per year.

Our solar energy installations meet 35% of our electricity needs and provide excess energy to the grid. In 2020, we installed charging stations in our parking lot powered by our solar panels.

In 2021, we made the switch to 100% green energy, reducing our CO2 emissions by 78% compared to 2020, emphasizing our commitment to sustainability.
